As part of the London Festival of Architecture 2025 Our Cube is proud to showcase The Aylesbury Voices, an exhibition of community work made in collaboration with Residents from the Aylesbury Estate.

The Aylesbury Estate, once home to 8,000 residents, has been seen as a symbol of urban decline, yet it housed a thriving, multi-generational community. The Aylesbury Voices explores its legacy amid regeneration, reflecting on what is gained and lost as homes and communities are reimagined.

Through art, photography, film, and audio, the exhibition shares residents' experiences from the estate’s origins to life beyond demolition. Highlights include Harriet Mena Hill’s Soft Concretes and Aylesbury Fragments, alongside community-led video works, photographs, and drawings.

London Festival of Architecture is a  a month long celebration of architecture and city-making in June 2025.

This years festival theme is voices. Architecture is not only about creation; it’s about listening, amplifying, and intertwining the voices that make up our spaces, stories, and neighbourhoods. At present, where diverse perspectives are both essential and vulnerable, we must explore how different voices complement, contradict, and evolve together

Together, we can amplify the people and voices that have long been overlooked, create new systems and frameworks, and build more equitable spaces for all.
